Endoscopy and Operative Surgical Program

Erie Shores HealthCare is pleased to serve our community with an innovative and ever evolving Surgical Program. There is 3 operating rooms and 1 endoscopy suite within our setting. We are quite busy, performing an average of 4,600 surgical cases and 1,700 endoscopy procedures each year.


Surgery

We have a dynamic in house outstanding team, which includes an RNFA – Registered Nurse First Assistant, Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, Anesthesia, General Surgeons, Obstetricians/Gynecologists and Gastroenterologist.


The general surgery program offers leading, cutting edge traditional and laparoscopic procedures, including Appendix surgeries, Gall Bladder surgeries, Diagnostic and Screening Endoscopic procedures, varieties of Hernia repairs, Carpal Tunnel Release, Melanoma, Breast and Colon Cancer surgeries. Our OB/GYN’s offer Tubal Ligations, cesarean sections and laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomies. Our primary surgeon supports our 24-hour Emergency Room services.


Along with general surgery services, our visiting surgical services include:

  • Orthopedic Surgeons

  • Dental Surgeon

  • Plastic Surgeon

The General Surgical Clinics are outpatient based, located on the first floor. Thus offering more local services to our community and reducing the need for long distance travel for appointments.
